SBY to Submit 2010 Budget Bill to the House Today

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is set to officially bring out the 2010 state budget bill in the House of Representatives on Monday. Yudhoyono has declared the government next year will focus on shielding the people from the negative impacts of the global downturn, through a big spending budget to achieve the highest possible growth. Under the planned 2010 budget, the government expects the economy to expand between 5-6%, up from this year’s full-year growth forecast of 4.3%.
