Commission V of the House of Representatives demanded the Ministry of
Public Housing to soon complete all matters concerning Self-Supporting Housing
Stimulus Assistance (BSPS) of 2012 budget year by end of March 2013. This was stated
in a press released in Jakarta on Friday (3/8).
BSPS matters consist of, among other things, 100% payment to BSPS
beneficiary recipients based on Decree issued by the Ministry of Public
Housing. Vice Chairman of Commission V,
Mulyadi, said that the Ministry of Public Housing is demanded to settle some
problems as mandated by Law No. 1/2011 on Housing and Residential Area and Law
No. 20/2011 on Low-Cost Apartments (Rumah Susun).
Furthermore, Commission V asked the Ministry of Public Housing to
perform two attempts, namely completing payment of Operational Assistance [BOP]
fund and salary of Community Accompanying Team [TPM] and publishing all names
of household heads and names of beneficiary recipients of BSPS based on Decree
of Minister of Public Housing of 2012 Budget Year.
With regard to this matter, Commission V demanded the Ministry of Public
Housing to contain organization structure of personnel and Community
Accompanying Team in each regency or municipality on the website of the
Ministry of Public Housing in order to create transparency and public
accountability. The Ministry of Public
Housing should also follow-up all recommendations on 33 findings based on
result of audit of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in semester I 2012 and in the
framework of creating transparent and accountable management of state finance.
Minister of Public Housing, Djan Faridz, once explained that this matter
had been followed up by the Ministry of Public Housing, but it was not yet
processed by BPK. He admitted that from 33 findings in semester I of 2012,
Rp.876 million had been paid on the state treasury in January 2013, but it had
not been update in BPK. This is because updating will be performed in semester
I of 2013. (E)
