Survey outcome of the Central Board of Statistics [BPS] 2012 unveiled
that in 2012 growth of micro-and-small manufacturing industry rose by 4.06%
against 2011. The types of micro-and-small manufacturing industry which relied
on high production growth in 2012 included the leather industry, leatherware
and footwear [up by 8.89%]. The computer industry, electronic industry and
optic industry [7.9%], and electrical equipment industry [7.80%].
The types of micro-and-small industries which posted production growth
in 2012 against 2011 were among others:
· Paper and paper products (naik 6,11%)
· Printing, Reproduction and Recording (6,07%)
· Automotive (4,15%)
· Ready clothing (4,73%)
· Food (3,91%)
· Machines and YTDL Equipments (3,59%)
· Machineries and
Equipments Instalation and Repair (3,30%)
· Other Transportation Means (3,17%)
· Furnitures (3,16%)
· Textile (2,96%)
· Barang Galian Bukan Logam (2,66%)
The types of micro-and-small manufacturing industry which posted
negative growth in 2012 against 2011 were:

Rubber,
Rubber Products and Plastic wares (Turun 7,41%).
·
Pharmaceuticals,
Medicines, and Traditional Herbals (4,55%).
·
Machinery
Metal Goods and Equipments (0,01%)
·
Other
Processing (0,46%)
Growth in quarter IV 2012
In quarter IV/2012 growth of micro-and-small manufacturing industry
production rose by 1,27% against quarter III/2012. The types of micro-and-small
manufacturing industry which posted highest increase in quarter IV/2012 were
among other computer, electronic goods, and optic [up by 23.86%], basic metal
industry [14,38%] and textile [6,70%].
Other micro-and-small manufacturing industries posting production
increase in quarter IV/2013 against quarter II 2012 were among others:

Products, Woven Rattan (up by 6,65%).
·
Pharmaceuticals,
Medicines and Traditional Herbals (5,52%).
·
Leather,
Leather Goods and Footwear. (4.35%).

Ready
Garments (4,16%)

(2,06%)
The micro-and-small manufacturing industry posting negative growth in
quarter IV/2012 against quarter III/2012 were:
